i don't believe anyone would dispute that SF is a liberal town/city, in terms of government and the make up of most of the residents. is this an example of liberal government? does SF ignore those over the bay? is SF insulated?

if so:

1. how have liberal politics benefited the city?

2. is the city better off now than 'before' or 'when'?

3. is crime less?

4. can more afford to live there?

5. do the residents of SF want more police control of the city or less?

how has liberalism benefited this city? if you read the SF paper liberalism hurts the city. and you can see it in the comments.
