Yep, reminds me of why I sent money before he announced he was running. I wish he'd really wanted the job.

Was he on drugs?

He seemed unfocused, stuporous, as if he had taken too many sedatives.

That was Biden. We are talking about a totally different convention here.

The part about taxes was great.

Obama's not gonna raise your taxes, just businesses. So as long as you don't buy any goods, food, or gas from businesses, you'll be ok. As long as you don't receive a paycheck from a company, you'll be ok.

No. I saw a lot of dumb-looking people. It had to be the Republicon convention.

That was particularly stupid.

Pretty much what would be expected from a Republicon.

And yet you cannot refute any of it. If we raise taxes on businesses, they just raise the price of their goods and pay their employees less. It raises inflation and stops investment and growth. Barack's gross ignorance on such matters puts his policies right in line with Carter economics. On top of that he wants to tax individuals that invest and he will tax the profit people make when selling their homes.

Barack Obama and his policies will drive our country into a depression.

Well for a communist the ideas Thompson spoke of are stupid.

You're right. Thanks for reminding me Joe Steel is nothing but a bitter communist hack that hates capitalism and America.

That's just not so.

Firms can only charge what the market will pay. Increased costs may or may not be passed-along depending on what consumers are willing to pay. If consumers will not pay a higher price and employees will not work for lower compensation, increased costs will come from profits.

Refuted.

What profits? Without the employees and consumers buying their product there will be no profit. Thus no taxes.
