Even Palin's home state newspaper was shocked when she openly bitchslapped a political rival on live radio.

The No. 1 and No. 2 newspapers in Alaska really despise Palin. I wonder why McCain's "vetting" didn't pick that up?

Did McCain know (http://thehill.com/mark-mellman/what-palin-says-about--mccain-2008-09-02.html)that her state’s largest paper would question the choice, exclaiming, “it’s stunning that someone with so little national and international experience might be a heartbeat away from the presidency”; or that the state’s second-largest paper would conclude, “regardless of her charm and good intentions, Palin is not ready for the top job”?

The Anchorage Daily News in January describes the radio interview as "It was conduct unbecoming a human being, never mind a governor."

I read it all and I'm not so condemning as all that; the Radio personality was a pitbull, that's clear, and it was pretty much him attacking Senate President Lyda Green. Called her a....b***h and a cancer. Aaaarrrrrrrrgh, they play with rocks in their snowballs up there.

However, Palin said enough to make Green an enemy (http://thehill.com/mark-mellman/what-palin-says-about--mccain-2008-09-02.html).

"Did McCain know that the Republican president of Alaska’s state Senate, a woman who hails from Palin’s hometown of 8,000, would rush to tell the press, “She’s not prepared to be governor; how can she be prepared to be vice president or president?”

It is rapidly becoming clear that Palin is not popular in Alaska. There is a lot of spin and propaganda that she is, but when you start looking at things like this, apparently not so much.

The number 1 and 2 newspapers in Alaska are just a couple of liberals rags just as bad as the New York Slimes..

I think most people up there buy them just to warp their salmon in for drying..

Quite hilarious that the die hard libtards here are still obsessed with destroying Palin. Why not be positive and talk about Obama's many accomplishments? After all, this isn't the time for devisive politics, we need to come together as a nation for a healing process.
