Man accused of indecent exposure arrested after afternoon manhunt
Police dog found suspect from Palm Desert in Southern California near secluded Pirates Cove beach
A Southern California man accused of indecent exposure, violating parole and possessing a stolen vehicle was arrested Thursday afternoon at Pirate’s Cove after a search involving five law enforcement agencies.
Atascadero police dog Zeke found Patrick Dodenhoff, 39, of Palm Desert, hiding in the brush near the secluded shore between Shell Beach and Avila Beach, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
Pirate's Cove is known for being popular with nude beachgoers.
...
The first was at 10:40 a.m. at San Luis Obispo High School. The second was at 12:30 p.m. in the Mustang Village student housing near Cal Poly and the third was at 12:50 p.m. near Royal Way and Los Osos Valley Roads.
A witness obtained a license plate number and vehicle description during the third incident. The plate matched a blue 2004 Ford Escape sport-utility vehicle that had been reported stolen in Gardena, near Los Angeles.

The guy steals a car in LA. Drives all the way to SLO county. Runs all over the place looking for places to expose himself. Ends up being caught at a nude beach. This could be a movie. Throw in Bruce Willis, some high speed chases and firey car crashes and this could be a blockbuster.
