In the town of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a state of chaos still exist. Power is spotty, many schools and businesses have yet to open and storm damage from Gustav still litters many roads. Then there is Ike, which could send more rain and wind into the area.

Amidst all this, LSU has opted to play their regularly scheduled Saturday football game. Against the wishes and requests of the city. Officials from LSU cite "significant revenue losses" and "not wanting to disappoint their fans."

In Texas, games have been moved or rescheduled. Even the mighty University of Texas has rescheduled its rivalry contest against Arkansas.
But LSU still feels the need to bring 90,000 fans to a stadium where access roads remain littered and lights remain out. So they can play a chump game against North Texas.
What wonderful priorities they must have at LSU.
