Keyboardist and original member of the legendary Pink Floyd, dead of cancer at the age of 65.

The individual members of Pink Floyd are not as well known as the band itself. Richard Wright was perhaps the least known, along with drummer Nick Mason.
Those not familiar with Wright are more familiar with his contributions to Dark Side of the Moon. Listen to the swirling keyboards, especially on "Us And Them."
My favorite Floyd album has always been "Animals." Listen to the incredible keyboard parts on many of the songs.
