The crews worked 24-7, only stopping for holidays and severe weather. The bridge was anticipated to open this Christmas, but due to new construction technology and the non-stop work, the bridge opened today at 5am.

Well, the whole incident hasn't gone on without the local liberals blaming lack of tax revenue for the collapse and pretty much using the tragedy for their own political gain. The rescue crews hadn't yet gotten the bodies out of the water and Little Miss Amy Klobuchar (we call her the Klobber n' Shower) was out touting we needed more money devoted to roads... yet she voted to divert minimum 40% of the transportation budget to light rail and transit buses that run on ethanol.
