A 3rd identical party is the last thing we need. A 3rd party that distinguishes itself by always doing what is in the best interest of our country and its citizens is what is needed. As yet, that party doesn't exist.

In addition to what MM said. It would depend on who controls congress. Too many parties and we end up with a parliament instead of a congress.

Does a congress have to be only two parties? Well, one party with two different symbols is what's there at the moment.

If that's the case then I can highly recommend a parliament.
