I am a lifelong Angels fan, so I would be happy for them to play anyone in the series. The dodgers would be cool, a freeway series. On the other hand, the Chicago series would also be great.

I just left the phone from my 93 year old aunt, being the 'nice mom' my 23 year old son is now talking to her. Sure it's about the wheelchair we lent her husband 9 months ago, from my dad, her husband died about 5 months ago. My son is making arrangements to pick it up to give it to the home my mom was at, if my nephew won't need it.

The big issue though, is what about Those Cubs? She's so excited, though has turned down numerous offers for tickets by policemen, (my uncle was a captain on CPD). She now has a big screen tv in her apt., doesn't want to deal with Wrigley problems regarding bathrooms or seats. She's even turned down the 'Clubhouse' watching, because of crowds, no matter how elite. ;)

Of course, the best thing about the current baseball playoffs is that neither the Yankees or Mets made it. It just doesn't get much better than that.

I doubt it Abbey. My mom died in '04. She wasn't that much into BB when she was alive.
