Of course she is. McCain's only reasoning in choosing Palin was to pick up disgruntled Hillary supporters. He apparently didn't know that he was getting a worse-than-Dan Quayle type.

I predicted a few days ago, that we'll know how the left evaluates Sarah Palin after the debate, by how loudly they scream, how many unimportant things they throw up a "issues", and how much they try to denigrate her after the debate.

It's starting to look like they are very, very scared. We're seeing silly stuff thrown up as "important points", character attacks, signed-sealed-delivered conclusions that the election is over because of her, etc. Nothing that can be proven (as usual), nothing that can be backed up, and basically nothing that's true. But more strident commentary than we've had since the Swift Boat Veterans started telling the thruth about John Kerry.

You have to feel sorry for these leftists. They are trying to fight a battle of wits, and it is becoming more and more clear that they are completely unarmed. So they come up with this silly tripe again and again, hoping that somebody, somewhere, will believe them.

It has always been hard to push an agenda that most of the American people oppose. It's not getting any easier, the farther to the left these kooks slide.

Your governor is asking for a 7 billion dollar bailout, is Palin asking for a bail out for Alaska? If the state is paying for your teaching job you may not recieve a check soon. You would be better off in Alaska.

Hillary supporters had nothing to do with his choice of Gov. Palin. He was attempting to draw conservatives who believe he is a liberal back into his pocket. Without conservatives he had zero chance of winning. Of course, it is beginning to look like he still has zero chance of winning, but that is besides the point.

What will really kill them is if Republicans pull out another narrow victory next month.

I don't think these sites will be fun to participate in for about six months if that happens.

Funny you should mention control freak(s) when discussing politicians.

Do you honestly believe that neither Senator Obama, Senator McCain nor Senator Biden are control freaks? I think it goes along with the territory.

There is a very distinct difference here that you are somehow failing to understand or even recognize.

I don't see that I have missed anything in the conversation. Perhaps you can enlighten me, pb, in the mean time... how about another Margarita?

Then you can sit down here with me and explain how she is more of a control freak than those other control freaks.

As for being "out of her league", I think it is the other way around. Senators Obama, McCain and Biden are out of their league compared to her, as she stands heads and shoulders above them in the areas of honesty and integrity and probably just about every other worth while category you can think of.

Immie, most politicians have fairly large ego's. Most are not control freaks. In this case we have a control freak that also has a large ego. See what I mean?

I disagree with you though. Most politicians are control freaks. It is what gets them into the racket in the first place and I do mean racket. They want to control the masses... see what I mean?
