If Obama was President they might have addressed it to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue

How can the Judge argue that an omniscient God is unaware of the suit file against Him?

Awareness does not circumvent proper legal service. That's the law.

Awareness does not circumvent proper legal service. That's the law.If not having a street address provides no immunity from suit for the homeless, it shouldn't prove to be immunity for God.

If God is made aware of the suit, He is by law obligated to answer or default.

Does anyone else here think GOD had something to do with the dismissal? Pulled some strings, called in a favor?

Yep, the key is...If God is made aware of the suit. No assumptions that he was.

There are default judgments, yes, but how do you enforce one in this case without an address? How do you hold God in contempt if he violates this requested permanent injunction?

A great example of reforming the system to a loser pays for frivolous law suits.

Good topic for our new Legal forum.

Getting the lawsuit thrown out was God's best defense. Since most of the best lawyers would eternally reside in that other place. :p

If God is made aware of the suit, He is by law obligated to answer or default.

Except that God, by virtue of His position as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, is not subject to the jurisdiction of any human court.

What if the judge doesn't believe in God?

What if the judge doesn't believe in God?

The existence of God does not depend on ones belief in God. If the judge does0 not believe, God would not therefore cease to exist.

I would hate to have a judge order God to appear in court or risk losing the case. The Almighty could make things unpleasant.

lol, some of these are just funny, but this case is just such a huge waster of time. It's a ridiculous suit that should have been shoved back out of court with a swiftness, and on some sort of ground that can be wiggled around, it should have been shot down by the judge saying, "This is a nonsense, frivilous suit taking up time that could be spent working cases involving cancer victims, or people who need actual legal aid. If you attempt to bring this before me again, you will be held in contempt, and charged with obstructing justice."

How hard is it to just look at someone and say, "you are high off your ass if you think this even matters."
