L.A. Times opinion = not worth reading.

And I didn't abandon the ticket, because I didn't support any Republicans this time around and I'm not voting for McCain.

No, not true.

But, simply by the title of your thread it is obvious this one is not worth reading.

BTW, I think that is the first time you have ever responded to something I wrote. I have always had the impression that you don't like me or had me on ignore for some reason.

But today, as the last few sober grown-ups leave the party, the visible face of the GOP increasingly looks like that of the people who shout "kill him!" when Obama's name comes up, who speak of black men they don't like as "uppity" or as "boys," who think you can't trust a Muslim or an Arab, who think talking about "Barack Hussein Osama" is witty and (I'm talking to you, Sarah Palin and John McCain) who claim Obama "pals around with terrorists."

So here is yet another article saying that in affect, everyone who is against bambam is a racist. How wonderful......I mean typical......of you.

Once again we have no other reason for not voting for him except that he's black.

Gee, I wonder why my dem sister isn't voting for him?????? Oh that's right, she doesn't believe his hype.

For the record.

No one can back up the reporters story about someone shouting "kill him".

His middle name is Hussein.

He is a snob, if you didn't notice that when he was running against Hillary you're blind. Have you noticed that EVERY TIME someone refers to him as Senator OBama and he replies with their first name, it's RUDE and condescending.

Secret Service says it never happened. The story was reported by one newspaper reporter. Not a single SS agent heard it, no one in the audience heard it. No one interviewed heard it. No one except on reporter.

you cannot make those claims. "No one in the audience heard it"??? NOWHERE have I seen any reports that suggest that the Secret Service has spoken to all who were in attendance in order to make that statement anything other than bullshit.

You're right, the chances that everyone in attendance was interviewed is slim and none, with slim heading out the door. A slight exaggeration on my part. The fact still remains that the Secret Service says that the story is unfounded.

Knowing how the George Soros machine will do anything to win, I don't doubt for a second that he would pay some left wing loser, that doesn't need to go to work, to travel around to all the McCain/Palin rallies to shout out bullshit. After all, they are signing up the lowest dregs of society to vote for their boy. They are going to drug rehabs, homeless shelters, psych wards, NAMBLA headquarters, crips and bloods fights, Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, orgies, KKK meetings........... anywhere a carton of cigs or some fried chicken can buy them a vote. You Dims should be very proud of your pathetic party.:laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:

Because McCain is a big-government liberal.

Nice slogan, can you bring up Bob Barr's talking points to show how that is who he would be as President? How is Barr doing by the way? Does he still have that creepy porno mustache and refer to himself in the third person?

Barr will attract Republicans who want to vote for a real conservative.

It's no slogan. McCain likes big government, just like most GOPers nowadays like big government. Exhibit One: McCain-Feingold campaign finance "reform," in which the government decides whether or not you can legally run certain campaign ads during certain times.
As for Barr's stand on the issues, look here: http://www.bobbarr2008.com/issues/

It started with John McCain's choice of Sarah Palin as his running mate. Thinking conservatives -- as of a couple of months ago, there were still a few left -- were distinctly underwhelmed.

This part is incorrect: Intelligent GOPers have been leaving for quite a bit longer than that. The Republican party has forgotten the ideals that it was founded on. If they were really towing the line of Republican values, then Obama would have been sunk all the way back in February, and we wouldn't even be discussing this anymore.
