Unbelievable one of my 30 something friends already went a week or so ago, they are coming back and she's seeing them again on Friday. Too excited for words.

My daughter never was into them, though her room was decorated "New Kids" due to peer pressure.

I wasn't able to go when they were here for the first time back in 1992. My grandma wouldn't let me go or take me. I was totally in love with them at that time, too.

So, I am making up for it now.

When I found out the date of the concert and when tickets were going to go on sale, I cleared my schedule from 9:55 to 10:15 to be able to sit online and buy tickets as fast as I could.

LOL! Just like my friend. But two concerts in two weeks? She figures she'll stalk them this time. :laugh2:

I don't know if I could afford two concerts. I had to pull money from savings just to afford these tickets. But I DID get main-floor seats, 50th row back.

The show was AWESOME!!!!

Turns out my seat wasn't as close as I thought it was going to be. However, before the main show started, after Natasha Bedingford was done, one of the security guys came up and asked my husband and me if we wanted to get closer. Uh YESSSSS PLEEEEEASE?!

So he gave us tickets that put us literally right next to the left side. So close I could have tossed my panties to the stage without effort...

Wait, what? Moving on...

The view was better and I could see where they would do costume changes, and um, I saw them all half-nekkid more than once!

Not only that, they weren't enforcing the "no photos, no video" rule. So I got lots, but not as many as I wanted because my battery died. Stupid me forgot to charge it, and thought I had plenty of juice.

I got a pink NKOTB zip-hoodie and a t-shirt.

Oh, and I got Natasha Bedingford's autograph. Well, initials, more like. She was signing them right after her show was done, so I ran up there and she signed my printed ticket that I had to carry for proof of seat. I also got a pic of her, but I had to move fast, so it wasn't as clear as I wanted it.

My new hard-drive is now installed on my computer, but I have to install a few of my programs again, transfer data, and work on getting my Quicken stuff updated first. I will then have time to get the photos and video up here.

So, for any screaming, squealing NKOTB fans you will see the pics sometime today or tomorrow.

Wasn't it fun to 'go back in time?' :laugh2: Glad you had such a great time!

Shouldn't they change their names to something like YKGOML (You Kids Get Off My Lawn!)?

Or maybe old men on the block.

Old men? They're only in their mid-late 30's. If you're saying that's old, you have lots to explain to a few members here who are older than that ... :laugh2:

I felt like I was 12 again. Seriously, all the feelings I had back at that age felt like they never went away. Kind of a strange feeling.

Even stranger, was the guys talking about sex and doing risque moves and such. I liked it, (very much so!), but it definitely is a different perspective on how much has changed (but lots has stayed the same) about them in the 15 years they were gone. Yeah, they grew up as did their fans, but it was strange seeing my squeaky-clean, polite guys doing that because of their past image.

However I will easily get used to it.
