I still like my Colt model Anaconda 44 mag Revolver! Nice and heavy, bulky and hard to handle. Love it!

Congrats on your acquisition P!

I've yet to shoot my Beretta 9mm since I moved here. I also need to go buy a couple of 15 round clips before they're outlawed (again).

Mary and I were just talking today - if obamamamamamamama wins, we'll go buy a couple pistols IMMEDIATELY. :(

Probably a XD45, and a XD40 for her - maybe a carry-piece, too

No, but I think he'll sign anything the liberal dem congress may pass..I think his view on gun rights is restrictive. Didn't he support the D.C. ban? I think so. Back to the Brady days or worse..get em while ya can.

If Obama wins and has both houses gun owners are in trouble. I will be buying a lifetime of ammo and maybe a couple more guns.

Thanks! I went to the county sheriff's office, asking about a concealed carry permit. I told her I was moving here from NY, and she immediately said, "Oh, well, you don't need a permit to own a pistol or have it in the house or anything like that." Awesome!!!

True for house and car..otherwise you do need a license to carry (with a few exceptions).

Carrying a pistol without a license: You must have a license to carry a handgun, openly or concealed, outside of your own home, place of business, and motor vehicle.

That is also addressed in the first link.

Its a misdemeanor to carry concealed in California for the first offense. Get caught carrying a knife thats to big or wrong configuration and its a felony. Go figure.

A misdemeanor for either here. The second round is a felony though.

Do what I do...I own around 20 guns and hand load all my ammo. Cheaper and more accurate. Hope my basement never catches fire.:boom2:

I'm at 20+ but I don't have room to reload yet. I have reloading equipment but no place to set it up. I'm thinking my wife wouldn't much like me bolting down the press to the dining room table. :coffee: She's a god woman and I can get away with allot but I just don't think I can pull that one off.
