A news anchor at a TV station in Florida interviewed Joe Biden last Thursday. She reminded him that Barack Obama has said he wanted to "spread the wealth around". Then she pointed out Karl Marx's famous deescription of Communism's basic creed (and its kissing cousin Socialism), "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs", and asked Biden why Obama's agenda couldn't be considered Socialism.

Biden's reaction was hilarious. He said, "Is that a joke?", as though it were somehow unreasonable to point out that the two philosophies matched almost perfectly. He also said, "I don't know who's writing your questions.", trying to pretend there was some reason not to make such an obvious comparison. Finally, he resorted to the "I know you are but what am I" defense, with a bizarre reply that Obama wasn't spreading the wealth around, but John McCain was.

Biden managed to run out the clock on the interviewer as usual, who had to move on to the next question without pointing out the obvious: It wasn't McCain who told a citizen in Ohio, "It's good to spread the wealth around", it was Obama. She also missed the opportunity to tell Biden, that his statement was far more clearly a joke, than her own.

The Obama campaign is going ballistic, trying to bury the fact that Obama admitted to his real agenda when he talked with Joe the Plumber a few weeks ago. Biden's weird act of doublethink with the Florida news anchor, stating flatly that Obama didn't say what national TV cameras show him saying, is just the latest example. Biden seems to think that if he repeats this falsehood enough times, it will somehow become truth (as another famous Socialist's Propaganda Minister once famously said).

The Obamaites have since retaliated against theTV station that had the nerve to ask Biden such direct questions, quickly cancelling a later interview with Biden's wife. The Obama people were so flustered, that they lapsed into truthtelling once more, admitting the cancellation was in direct response to the embarrassing questions asked of Biden. They even admitted that they were only concerned with hiding from such questions, until the election was over.

Biden so disliked West's line of questioning that the Obama campaign canceled a WFTV interview with Jill Biden, the candidate's wife.

"This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election," wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign.

McGinnis said the Biden cancellation was "a result of her husband's experience yesterday during the satellite interview with Barbara West."

Here's a link to the interview: http://www.wftv.com/video/17790025/index.html .

WFTV news director Bob Jordan said, "When you get a shot to ask these candidates, you want to make the most of it. They usually give you five minutes."

Jordan said political campaigns in general pick and choose the stations they like. And stations often pose softball questions during the satellite interviews.

"Mr. Biden didn't like the questions," Jordan said. "We choose not to ask softball questions."

Jordan added, "I'm crying foul on this one."

I'm closing as dupe.
