McCain calls for Stevens to resign

The McCain camp has issued a statement calling for the resignation of disgraced convicted felon Senator Ted Stevens. But it wasn't a unanimous decision.
Palin is furious at McCain for refusing to support her long-time friend and mentor. McCain's advisers view Stevens as a political hot potato that needs to be dispensed with.
Not that it will make any difference after McCain loses the election, but it could hurt Palin politically.

Um... what do you mean Palin is upset at McCain not supporting her mentor? Ive heard her on television saying the exact opposite.
