A whole new way of scaring yourself stupid opened above the Grand Canyon in Arizona yesterday.

It's called a Skywalk and a million visitors a year are expected to tread its glass walkway, look down three-quarters of a mile, and feel like they've stepped off the edge of the world.

The horseshoe-shaped observation deck extends 70ft beyond land and there are no reassuring supports below.

I've been at 41,000 feet for hours on end but I'd NEVER walk out on that!!

I can't stand next to the edge of a tall building either.:laugh2:

I wouldn't care for that either. I don't even like riding in glass elevators.
