I thought it was too. Maybe she was walking in to vote herself or for some other reason.

electioneering is illegal only inside a certain distance from the polling place. If the line was long, she could legally work that line right up to the point where the physical restriction took place.... usually 50 or 100 feet.

cop out? It's true! Electioneering is not illegal, it is only illegal on election day within a prescribed distance from the polls. If Hagan was INSIDE that distance, she was breaking the law. Was she inside that distance? What IS the distance in NC? Where is the documentation that she was inside it?

People we all need to realize that MFM is correct, that it is perfectly LEGAL to talk and politic within so many feet of a polling place. this is not a Liberal/conservative thingk this is for EVERYONE. Don't let your dislike for someone cloud your judgement on something as trivial as this.....

I'll tell you what... either Barach Obama or John McCain are more than welcomed to show up at my precinct and ask for my vote. I'm sure they'll take me up at the semi-rural precinct too.

But, I'm not promising to change my vote if they do. Who knows though, I could act like a star struck liberal and change my vote because I happened to shake hands with Barack Obama.
