Okay...

So General Electric Co. secures temporary backing of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp for up to $139 billion of the debt of its finance arm, GE Capital. (http://www.reuters.com/article/ousiv/idUSTRE4AC0JJ20081113) This is the very same GE whose news arm (and I use the term "news" very loosely), consisting of NBC, CNBC, and MSNBC, spent the last two years shilling for Obama, doing their level best to assure the ascendance of the man to the highest office in the land, the same GE whose "news" shows have hosts who tingle at the sound of Obama's voice. Less than eight days after he wins the election, they get a $139 billion guarantee on their debt? Seriously? Coincidence? Maybe...

And yes, I am well aware that Bush is still the President, but that doesn't mean that the FDIC doesn't have an eye to the future. It is only 65 days, after all.

This bailout crap is getting silly. Let them fail. Let them all fail.
