As Dems have done since 2000, what is your pet name for Obama?

Since we had to endure 8 years of insults to Pres Bush's name (Shrub, etc.... ) I believe what goes around comes around

Here are a couple

O-Carter and -"Baka" (baka means stupid fool in Japanese)

I eventually had several. Unlike you, however, I actually waited until he had DONE something as president that displeased me before losing respect for him.

I was completely supportive of him right up through November 2001, and had no nicknames for him whatsoever until that time.

pfffffeeeee ssssshhhhh..

I've seen enough of the little Marxist in the last two years, read from his books to know how much he despises me because I'm white, hell he even put down his own grandmother because(she was a typical white person), so I have good reason now not to respect this person, and I can't see anything that will change my mind about him...if anything, it will get worse..

Why do Dems hate Bush so much?

Although you do have a point, he has done absolutely NOTHING - in his term as a senator, unless you count "present".

He's not President yet, and even though Keys has this new thing in court to have his birth certificate revealed, it'll never happen. He'll do his 4 years as President, and some time far in the future someone will unearth that certificate and we'll finally know. My bet is he isn't really eligible, but the liberal media will make sure we never know for years to come.

Name-calling the PRESIDENT is childish, IMO. The president will face decisions tougher than any of us can imagine, so to insinuate they are incapable based on our PERCEIVED outcome of the decision is lame.

When has liberalsim ever succeeded? Unless he does a 180 on his promises to his base, we are in for Peanut Carter 2.0

He will be President on 1/20/09 - and I will give him all the support the left gave Pres Bush for the last 8 years

Likely.

Support? I can't support the president. That is to say he gets NO support from anything I can accomplish. If you mean to simply 'agree' with whatever he does/says? Sure...I likely 'won't' support Him. Not-supporting is NEVER a reason to be disrespectful, though. That's just not how I roll.

I do support liberals or what they what to accomplish. I see Obama bringing in Clinton retreads - and that is to be change?

As far as respecting him - respect is to be earned

I guess on this one DMP, we will have to agree to disagree

However, unlike the left has done to Pres Bush, I do NOT wish him any harm

I don't think any far-left or far-right mindset applied to a democracy will ever succeed. Look at Jimmy Carter. He was a fairly liberal President. He goes on a "retreat" to think of what to say to the American people, comes back with a speech about personal responsibility, a cornerstone of conservative values...and people hated him for it. Why? Because no one wants to hear they aren't doing their job, or that it's their fault. They want to blame liberals, conservatives, the President...anyone but themselves.

Until Raygun it was great. Carter was the last President to have ethics. He may have been over his head but he did have ethics and that is something sorely needed these days.
I think Barack has ethics and hope he exercises them.
