It's running in with the new James Bond movie. I like it. Personally, I don't mind a little re-imagining of a classic. Think Batman Begins.

Yes, Zachary Quinto. Excellent choice. Simon Pegg as Montgomery Scott and John Cho of Harold and Kumar fame as Hikaru Sulu. Eric Bana is the Romulan bad guy. Winona Ryder as Spock's mom.
