I made this on my trip from Puyallup, WA to Enterprise, Alabama. Here's Day one - the first 600 miles.

Day two to follow. Days 3, 4, and 5 if I can salvage the data off my since-crashed lap top :(

YT seems to have compressed it a lot. :(

I should have done that when I was down on the border doing the article about Illegal Immigration. I could have mounted it on my four wheeler and it would have provided some real interesting video.

This is really cool! I miss Washington. I hope I will get the chance to get back there again. I took it for grantred when I was trucking all the wonderful places I was going.

I didn't see many passing you. ;) Great recording of how diverse the geography of the US. Mountains to plains.

What I also added, other than oil...was pre-mix... :)

have to do with that rotor engine? and if so, why?

darin

Oil is injected to help the apex seals keep compression - but only at higher RPMs - not at freeway speeds. I used the pre-mix to help keep things nice and working as a precaution.

What a huge improvement over the standard cell phone narrative of every second of one's life........ it's not just in words, it's in pictures...... very 21st century.

Listening to the song you chose I can now understand your dislike for The Beatle's music....... :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:

Any puter experts? Trying to recover the data for the rest of the trip:

I got the HD plugged into an external case. I can 'see' some of the folders, shown under the K drive as you see below...but it's as far as it gets:

http://www.d-mphotos.com/images/misc/badhd.jpg

The HD clicks and beeps angrily occasionally.

Any advice?

It asks me to go thru that process; but I'm skeerd of it trying, then failing, then somehow jacking the data.

I've never lost any data with "windows" restore. My brother uses some other restore program that does wipe everything forward of the restore date out though.

you have to pick a date to restore the system to, any info or programs (as i recall, done it twice) added after the date chosen to restore the system will be lost. but you can simply save data and reload it.

have you tried the companies website. i have found that some programs have great customer service help without having to talk to someone. might simply need an updated driver. hey, are you using vista? if so, do you have SP1?
