We are thinking of going to see this, as we both like Daniel Craig in the Bond role. Has anyone seen it? Was it good?

I hope this won't evolve into a "Who is the best Bond" thread, lol. I just wanted some reviews of this movie from people who have seen it. :)

Hey Abbey, You have a 666 in your rep number and I can't rep you out of it....... sorry.

I haven't seen it but have read numerous reviews that said that it is a good idea to watch Casino Royale again before seeing Quantum since it is basically a continuation. I like Craig, he seems much moore realistic than most of the others....... I never believed Moore at all........ too gay. Bond isn't the jokester anymoore that Mike Myers has made fun of in the Austin Powers franchise, he is much moore serious, someone who would kill without a second thought. I will tell you moore if I see it before you do......... moore?:laugh2:

Its a GREAT Movie. Saw it with my Trigg and she liked it as well. I like the fact that Daniel Craig's portrayal of James Bond gets his ass kicked and it is much more realistic. I hope you enjoy it.. Ohh you really don't have to re-watch Casino Royal to pick up on the movie.. We liked it a lot!!

No. My dh cannot stand this guy as bond...my favorite is Roger Moore.ROGER MOORE. you have got to be kidding he was the pansiest JB other than Timothy Dalton. YOU really should watch MORE James Bond movies, because obviously you haven't seen many if you honestly think roger Moore is the best:eek::puke3:

Hands down Sean Connery was the best, I would say Daniel Craig is running at second, than Pierce Brosnan. :coffee:

That's ok. Threads often take on a life of their own that have little to do with the original topic. This is at least close.

haven't seen it yet but have herd very good reviews,

I quite liked craig in the first on he did, but I think he was also aided by a much better storyline than other bonds have had in the past few years.

Fairly good plot, lots of big explosions overdone as usual, the Bond Girl was very worth watching. But the fight scenes were strangely jerky and chopped-up, you could barely see what was going on. Very weird for a Bond movie.

Daniel Craig is excellent as Bond, Judy Dench does a good job of portraying a completely worthless and wimpy M who injects far more tension into the movie than it needs, I'll bet she HATES playing that role.

Overall the movie is OK, basically Craig carries it on his back and makes it worth watching, despite the crappy cutting and extraneous M folly.
