Is all taste subjective, or are there certain things that are just beyond discussion, and objectively in good or poor taste?

I know this is mostly a joke thread, but I'll take a stab at it.

In the most technical sense, yes, I think all taste is subjective. Taste is basically what appeals to your senses, your intellect, etc. And that is different for each person. The horn in the guy's ass certainly isn't in good taste, but it's funny. The girl's dress isn't in good taste, but it probably made people think she was a ho, which was probably her intent.

Then again, I've been told most of my humor is in poor taste, and many people would probably argue with my taste in music, movies, etc. so I guess I can't really say much.

I didn't intend it as a joke, though that first pic probably made it seem that way. In fact, it was our discussion about a certain someone, that prompted me to think about the question of taste & subjectivity. :)

Oh, I didn't make that connection! Well, senses of humor are very objective, and mine's weirder than most, so I can't/shouldn't speak on taste in reference to that.
