Maybe I'm weird but i dont really think it's funny. The whole point of dating is to see if the relationship will work out. If it's not working out because of distance, why shouldnt the girl end it? Granted the cheating part is ridiculous. But it seems like the response is more ego to me than funny. At least the girl had the decency to write and end it. She could have said nothing and just surprised him when he got home.
