White House press announcement:

Washington, DC - The White House announced today that Stymie and Buckwheat have been named as the new ambassadors to the African nation of Kenya. Stymie, age 87, and Buckwheat, age unknown, presented their State Department credentials to the senior ambassador of Kenya in a televised celebration broadcast on the BET network.

Both Stymie and Buckwheat were famous as the cute but stupid little colored kids in the movie series, 'The Little Rascals.' Both have close ties to Obama ever since he sold them his childhood shoe shine stand located on Elm and Maple in Chicago's Southside which they both operated until 1988. In 1989 they diversified and bought a Popeye's Fried Chicken franchise in Washington, DC.

On hand for the celebration was Spanky McFarland and Darla the little Hottie, both fellow cast members. Nemesis Alfalfa couldn't attend because he was six feet under and couldn't be disturbed since he was fairly well decayed.

Pete the dog was too ill to travel.
