What makes you think it's racist? Other than the fact that most people on the site are black?

That's a script that I once owned where you can make your own community, sort of a myspace style. Obviously this one is catering to blacks, which I have no problem with, unless they don't allow any whites on there at all, then it would be racist IMO.

Imagine if you started a "whiteplanet" though and catered to whites - it would immediately be labeled a KKK site I bet.

Racism isn't the issue here. Sites like that are created to make money. The 'black' angle is one that's very profitable right now. It's a matter of simple capitalism.

I don't see anything racist about the site, I joined as a White user and all seems fine. Ergo my question to yurt as the site seems in no way racist or exclusionist.

So you are saying that idiots would wrongly say that a site called 'white planet' with a McCain blog would be racist. And yet you are saying that this site with an Obama blog is racist...wouldn't that make you an idiot?

nope...if it is going to be racist for one group then until we are all equal, it is racist...and it is not just idiots, you know for a fact that the site would be taken down immediately. fair is fair....

consider for a moment that there does not exist a whiteplanet forum/site like that one, but you have asian, black....but no white, why? because it is racist and if you think it is only a minority idiots who believe that, you would be wrong.

in and of itself, not racist. two wrongs make a right? in this case, the only way to get a point across.
