BOB DYLAN!!!! Though by the 70's, he was full-on electric, he's the granddaddy of all singer/songwriters.

Also, I like Leonard Cohen, but his stuff is much darker than the ones you listed.

Stick with the early 70's Southern Rockers, marteen. You can't go wrong with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still jamming that stuff and being paid fairly well to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only do local gigs anymore, dan. But, I have jammed all over the world even in Russia and China back when Americans weren't officially allowed in that part of the world!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got a fairly impressive resume' and repertoire, if you can dig it. If it's good jamm, goddamnit, it's just good jamm, don't you know?!?!?!?!?!!?!!??!?!?!

How 'bout an Arkansas Shit Slinger?!?!?!?!??!?!??! Pretty much like a Singapore Sling but with much more of an American flavor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
