The greatest live performer of the rock era. I can't wait to take my daughter to see him.

Those were the words I was looking for!! Where'd you find them?

His performance at the Super Bowl certainly did nothing to convince me otherwise.

I had a friend in college that lived in a trailer park. Her neighbor was really trashy and played simpleton Springsteen noise at all hours of the day and night(he didn't work, obviously). He even had Springsteen bumper stickers on his rusted out Nova. He also wore Springsteen t-shirts over his pregnant belly all of the time and of course he was never without a Bud beer in his hand and a cig in the other.:puke3:

Do you have that Joy Division single where the packaging cost so much they actually lost money with each sale? I think it was "Transmission", but I'm not positive.

I went through a big Ian Curtis/Joy Division phase over the past year or so. Ever seen 24 Hour Party People? Great movie about Factory Records.

Haven't found a video by him. I'll let you know when one turns up. Till then, a still photo will hav to do, see below.

He had a warped sense of politics and social rules, as so many other artists do today. But I loved his music, long before I found out about his social inclinations.

I could have gone with the clip from Apacolypse Now, but that is so predictable.

My favorite song of all time, by an incredible talent for the ages.
Plus Phil Collins on drums.
Btw, Clapton's bass player is a joy to see play in person.
