Was it Chris Matthews? Was it Keith Olbermann? Was it the producer?
Whoever it was, they owe Governor Jindal and the viewers an apology. Groaning "Oh God" just prior to Jindal's speech, while not a new low for the on air personalities over at aMessNBC, is definitely unprofessional and uncalled for.

Soes this really surprise anyone? They are Republican hating reporters who claim to be objective.
How can they be when they worship the Democrats as their gods?

In either case, you guys are being awfully hard on the guy for his little prayer. Honestly, don't you think tens of millions of Americans said the same thing when they saw Jindal. After all, he's the Republicans hope for the future.

Matthews has made no secret of his faith so I suspect he was praying. Republicans are desperate and the desperate do desperate things.

I heard "My God" not "OH God".
MY God is what I thought when I saw this guy walk out...he looked like a premo DORK!
His speech was great though, IMO. So good that NBC cut right away after, WITHOUT one single comment! I'll not look at him as an "OH MY GOD" dork again.

UPDATE (3:36pm Eastern): Chris Matthews tells TV Newser it was him. Matthews will explain his remark on "Hardball" tonight. Here is some of what he will say:
I was taken aback by that peculiar stagecraft, the walking from somewhere in the back of this narrow hall, this winding staircase looming there, the odd anti-bellum look of the scene. Was this some mimicking of a president walking along the state floor to the East Room?

They had to outsource the response tonight, the Republican party. They had to outsource to someone who had nothing to do with Congress because the Republicans in Congress had nothing to do with the programs he was talking about tonight or the record he referred to.
