Apparently Joe made an appearance on The Early Show yesterday where he had a question or two for Governor Bobby Jindal. After a rhetorical question concerning what Jindal would "do," he stated, ""In Louisiana there's 400 people a day losing their jobs, what's he doing?"

Well, it turns out that that is not exactly the truth. According to numbers from the Louisiana Workforce Commission, Louisiana was the only state in the union that added employment over the month of December. Furthermore, according to the LWC, the state added 3,700 jobs when adjusted for the seasonal employment. In fact, the most recent available numbers indicate a decline in unemployment claims in Louisiana.

...The latest stats show this - from the week ending January 17th there were 4,527 claims for unemployment insurance in Louisiana, for the next week, that number receded to 4,179...

I would suggest that someone in his office start writing and fact checking everything Biden says, preferably before he starts talking. Otherwise, he'll likely find himself in trouble if he keeps making it up as he goes.

Reality check for Vice President Joe Biden
By Fred Childers

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Giving the republican response to President Obama's speech Tuesday night, Governor Bobby Jindal pointed out fundamental differences in how republicans and democrats see the economy.

"But what I don't understand from Governor Jindal is what would he do?," asks Joe Biden while on the Early Show.

That rhetorical question to Governor Jindal on the Early Show, was followed with this.

"In Louisiana there's 400 people a day losing their jobs, what's he doing?" asks Biden...

"In December, Louisiana was the only state in the nation besides the District of Columbia, according to the national press release that added employment over the month," says Patty Granier with the Louisiana Workforce Commission. According to her, not only is Louisiana not losing jobs. "The state gained 3,700 jobs for the seasonally adjusted employment," Granier said of the most recent figures.

You don't even have to take my word for it, these are number you can check out yourself if you just go to laworks.net, there you can find the latest unemployment statistics, statistics that appear to directly contradict what the vice president said this morning...

It's unclear where the VP gets his numbers, but they certainly don't match numbers from the labor department.

The unemployment rate in Louisiana has gone up, from 5.3 to 5.9. Some blame that on a bigger workforce in the state. However, that rate is still less than the national average, which sits at 7.2%.

We called the Whitehouse press office today and left a message for the vice president's office, but have not received a call back.

If Biden opens his mouth he is either lying or snoring

How is it that so many morons like Biden, Pelosi Barney Frank, and Reid keep getting elected over and over? Do their states have a massive shortage of people who want to run, or do they bring enough pork back to their areas/states to ensure that people will keep voting for them?

One thing for sure, the next four years will be more entertaining than the last eight have been. Biden is a loose cannon, and there is no way to tell what sort of bullpucky will leak from his mouth at any given time. So stay awake and listen up because he will once again say something really stupid just for our entertainment. Yehaw!

It will not be entertaining Binky. Unless you had a ball during the 4 years of Jimmy Carter and made a living as a bankruptcy lawyer
