Money printed for banks, auto industry, 'green projects', etc., but hit the vets. As stated, wouldn't pass, but does give some interesting insight to where they look to hit.

Just considering such is an indication of what this admin really thinks of the troops. Instead of "Thank You" they'll get "Screw You". Disgusting!

so at a time when the liberal's goal is to provide public health insurance for everyone, their first step is to shift those most deserving of public health care, the ones injured while serving their country, to private health insurance?......

Obama and his sacrifice.

Here is a novel idea, if he really wants to prove that we the people need to sacrifice, how about he and the members of Congress sacrifice.

First, they can pay for all their own medical care, like the rest of us.

Second, they can pay for their own transportation. They decided to run for the office, now they can foot their own bills.

Third, they can do away with public monies for re-election. IF they want the job they should pay for their own campaign.

Finally, if sacrifice is truly needed then I challenge the President and members of Congress to forego their salaries. That is right, they should all accept $1 per year in salary until such time as the economy is back on track. We should all sacrifice and the best way to show that is to lead by example. Hell there are several CEOs who are not accepting salaries, our government should be no different.

I'll think about sacrificing as soon as they start.
