I do as well - in fact, that's why I like the show, Britian's Got Talent, better than Idol.

To me, Idol seems to have a certain profile it's looking for - all the kids on that show have the same look etc...

She is a treat isn't she? And to thin k she did it in front of a crowd that she must have realized was buzzing with negative mumbling. Just outstanding. Wonderful performance.

I've been in sound and stage production for years. Ms. Boyle has a perfect voice for electronic enhancement and background embellishment. I've run into her level of ability literally thousands of times but somehow she just doesn't have the total package and periodically someone picks up on that shortchange. She will go far with her latest corporate interest in her but she is only one of millions that should also get the attention that she is now getting.
