if you would take the time....

a young couple from our church delivered twin boys prematurely a few weeks ago.....one brother was born at 1 lb, 10 oz, the other at 1 lb, 9 oz.....

to give you an idea of size, the ring you see on this boy's right arm is his father's wedding ring....

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_lXaI2HL5wyM/Sd6zYQSu0QI/AAAAAAAAAHQ/bfZh2IPCsLY/s400/CIMG1042.JPG

one brother had surgery yesterday to seal a faulty heart valve.....the other has an lung infection that he is fighting, may be pneumonia......both need all the help they can get right now.....

please spare them a moment of prayer...

God bless the little child behind the plastic wall
For all he knows is the ringing of the bells and
the blurred images around him. He has been taken
from my womb without warning and I long to hold him
in my arms.

Lord, I ask in your name that my child be healed.
I am willing to accept your decision no matter what
it will be. I am willing to take on the responsibilities
for caring for this child. I am willing to give this
child love and understanding no matter the cost.

Please Lord help me to accept reality and what has
happened without explanation or warning. Help me
face the fact that this is not my fault and that
I was given a special task to complete here on Earth.

God give my child the strength to make it through another
second, minute, hour and day as each moment is
a blessing and a triumph from heaven.

God, may you give the strength and compassion
to the caregivers and nurses that take care of my child
May you keep my child protected and free from all injury
and pain.

Please take away the guilt and burden from my heart dear
Lord. It is heavy and I feel it is all my fault.
Take it away dear Lord. Sweet Jesus allow me the stregnth
and understanding I need to communicate with the Doctors
and Nurses.

As you see dear Lord, I am at your mercy for the life of
my child. Please leave him here on Earth and know that
I will provide all the love and understanding that
this child needs. I accept the challenge and will be
your humble servant dear Lord.

My prayer has been signed, sealed and delivered, PMP.

May God's love and Grace be evident in the lives of these two young boys and may they both grow into healthy children and bring the joy of parenthood (and some of the trials as well) to their parents.

I don't know if you remember these guys (had their third birthday last month) but until recently they've both been doing well...

Max has been diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.....they removed a small tumor on his liver, which fortunately has not spread.....prognosis for full recovery is good....

May God hold them in his hand, and grant them the freedom of life for innocents forever.
Prayers can, and do work.
Rest assured. The Prayers of strangers always seem to give the power of survival to all who seek it.
Bless those little people and their parents with all the Love God has to give.

today I have sad news......Max, who had been in remission for years, passed away on Saturday at age 8 of results of cancer.......his memorial service will be held outdoors in his favorite park, surrounded by playground equipment because, as his parents said, "after all he was a boy"......

God let us borrow Max for eight years......

Very sorry to read of such sad news. Always strikes deeper, when its an innocent child struck down before life can be fully lived..
My condolences to all knew and loved this innocent child..
As I read this mere seconds after presenting here, a sad childhood poem about my own family , mentioning the innocence of children and how they view this oft dark world....-Tyr
