Should we try to normalize to some degree (at least) our relationship?

Would this be of benefit to the USA?

I say yes.

Opinions?

47 years of trade embargo has not changed Castro. I think it is silly to continue in this manner. I would hope that places Hemingway stayed could be seen or visited again.

I think we should. We arent accomplishing anything on the course we are currently.

In fact, it might allow Cubans to see the blessings of a free market.

The forces of free trade and capitalism should be able to oust the Castro dictatorship in no time.

Which one? They seem to be in rather adversarial conflict much of the time.
