we've all heard that phrase, and most decide to take the easy road every day, by voting for the two major screw ups known as the Big Government Party, & The socialist party. Neither of which protected us, from hurricane katrina, 9/11, criminal (10-15% of illegal felons) Illegal Aliens, bogged down in a pointless war in vietnam, and many other things.

I dont give a dam which anti-american party wins, because both are corrupt as bernie madoff times a million

so keep arguing, who sucks less, because they both swallow in the end. While you sell your soul for a vote, and power.

Neither deserves anything, and it is we the american sheeple faults, for thinking their are only two ways of thinking

Its hard to agree with your conclusion when we have never tried the Libertarian way. I can tell you that the two majors are as corrupt as the day is long and that is why I don't believe either one and never will again. At least I don't flip flop about it.

I simply stated the obvious. I said I don't flip flop. You know you have. Six or so times in a year. You're searching. The flip flop statement was certainly no where near cussing someone, calling them an asshole as you did in the PM you sent me or anything like that.

Like I said in the PM I returned to you. Go to bed, get some sleep, maybe you will feel better in the morning.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings by stating something on here already knew was fact.

Good night buddy.

Martin, the problem you are experiencing comes from looking for a perfect party, there isn't one. The best one can be is an informed voter. If you want to vote in the primaries, mostly you've got to declare a party, but there's no one to hold you to squat come the general election. Vote for the one you agree with most, I doubt you'll have much luck finding anyone you agree with on every issue.

Philosophically I suppose I mostly fit under 'libertarian', however they've yet to run a candidate locally and on the national level never seem to get beyond 'nuts.' That's the problem with 'labels' and why you can't make up your mind.

Martin I agree with ya they are both crooked as hell, I vote Republican cause I think it is the least of 2 evil's, I agree with allot more that they stand for.

But I think emmett has a point here, maybe it is time to look for other options, I have stated for a long time this country has been going down hill for a long time, It is the two major parties caring more about there party than there country

Jeff I figure the GOP may be dying or maybe not. In any case, I do know the idea of a small federal government, doing what it was charged with by the constitution is not dead or dying. Whoever picks up and runs with that idea, while being cognizant of the threats 'out there', will get my vote.
