View Full Version : Why can't Republicans keep it in their pants?

First it was Sen. John Ensign of Nevada. Now South Carolina governor Mark Sanford.
Prominent Republican politicians who can't keep their dick in their pants long enough to do their jobs. They cheat, then they lie about it.
It is no wonder that the GOP is headed straight down the toilet. It is party of no morals and no honesty. Makes me wonder if this condition runs rampant through the conservative Republican rank and file.
Dishonesty has always been a part of the Republican way of life. Going back to Dubya, Bush I and cabbage head Reagan. Lie to save face. Lie to get some nookie on the other side of the fence. Dump your long time marital partner and marry a trophy wife. Makes you presidential timber.
And I thought Clinton was bad.

Good question. Maybe Senator John Edwards could answer your question. Gary Hart perhaps. Clinton.etc,....

Oops......they were Democrats! Maybe Ted Kennedy....no...democrat. Hmmm. I think it would be safe to say that Republicans do not have a complete angle on infedelity. They both do it.

Hmmm.....I don't remember a prominent Libertarian doing it but I'm sure that is only coincidence.:laugh2:

Sure, there's that. Especially when you consider that the thread was started by the same person who, in another thread, gave us this gem:

The trouble, you people want to divide EVERY topic into Dem/GOP or liberal/conservative.
This was a story about a guy holding public office who flaked out and betrayed his constituents. Because the story said he was Republican, you immediately sought to deflect blame and criticism.
Many of you need to dislodge your heads from your conservative Republican assholes and start seeing the actual issues, not viewpoints as colored by your non-changing social and political viewpoints. It throws you down the shithole without a paddle.

Yep. Gabby should really change her screen name to "Incite" since that's pretty much all she does. Seldom does she "contribute" anything meaningful to the site. Being a flaming liberal you'd think she'd be the biggest contributor...wait, no, liberals don't contribute they want YOU to contribute while they stand on the sidelines and claim yer NOT DOING ENOUGH. Seems when a Democrat cheats on his wife (sometime with another man) you openminded folks on the left respond with a collective yawn and ask what that has to do with him performing the duties of his office

Libs are now gleefully saying this is from the party of family values. Many of us on the right now only talk about them but try our best to live them and to a higher standard

Meanwhile as libs poke fun at family values I think - so you are promoting the party of infidelity? My liberal buddy says he does not "preach" family values. I ask him you do not try to live by the Ten Commandments? You do not believe there is good and there is a bad?

He sighs, and then promply tries to change the subject back to the Republican who humilated his spouse and himself

Of course this is a frivolous and meaningless topic. I just enjoy the howls of righteous indignation that results as ConReps fall all over themselves in attempts to defend their beloved political ideology.
Because, as we all know, life is much better on the Republican side of the street. The sun is shining, the birds are singing and our country was only attacked once due to the carelessness of the caretaker at the time.
One exception is the consternation over the impending End of the World As We Know It, courtesy of the Obama administration. Which surely seeks to curtail all of our freedoms and liberties, even worse that the Patriot Act (which was personally endorsed by God) did.
As anyone can infer by reading the board over the last several months, there is a certain sector of folks who are unable to follow their own advice (handed out after the 2000 and 2004 general elections) and accept the mandate of the people.
Last time I checked, Obama still allows guys to drool over pictures of women with large boobs. So life isn't all bad. :D

Political figures seem to lack the morals that so many of us have. The data that comes from their penises is far more important than the data in their brain. It's a priority thing here. Fucking around with young stuff is what it's all about when they aren't out cheatin' the people. Face it, men are basically stupid. Anyone who lets himself be led around by his dick because he thinks the woman is actually worth the trouble and the price, has to be stupid. Stupid is as stupid does.

Well ya got a good point there, Bink...although I doubt ya know ya made it...There ain't an female ass around worth the price.

Am I the only one here who wonders why the hell this is a news story????

This is between him and his wife.

For the record the ONLY reason I cared about Clinton cheating was because he lied under oath. If this guy did that, let me know. Otherwise WHO CARES??????????????????????????????

I didn't implore you lefties to do a damn thing........you have a lot of growing up to do...little missy..

When I am able to stop laughing over this, perhaps I will think of a response. :laugh2:
Otherwise, continue to enjoy the current administration.

Trigg, this is a news story because the guy is governor of a state. Which makes him a fairly prominent personality. Which is why people care.

So the guys flies to Argentina at public expenses and lies about it. Yes, I suppose it is newsworthy.

My husband and I are in a pretty high tax bracket already. And would pay more if we thought it would help pay for necessary public services.
Paying taxes are part of the cost for living in a prosperous country.

Hell send me some cash Gabby, and I didn't see where he used public money to pay for this affair but isnt that the same as Obama's $72000 date, I know he was cheating but ya see the point?

Didn't you hear? In November of 2008, there was this nationwide election. The Democrats took control of the White House and both houses of Congress.
Perhaps Fox forgot to report that.

Thanks for the newsflash Gabby. I knew with unemployment rising, the annual defict quadrupling. the national debt doubling, gas prices going up, interest rates increasing, private companies being taken over by the government, North Korea fring missles and taregtng the state of Hawaii with nukes, and Iran telling the President to "butt out" and comparing him to Pres Bush - Dems had to be running things

Now you confirmed it

Actually Obama's date night cost US taxpayers $250,000

And lets not forget the record amount spent on Obama's Inauguration, his $100/pound steak dinners, Earth, Wind, and Fire going to the White House to perform for Obama, his 600 mile pizza delivery, and using Air Frce One to fly out to Las Vegas for a fundraiser

yeah, yeah, you're a Democrat so you don't mind paying higher taxes...But why don't you admit it little Missy, if you both make that much money, and I believe you said your husband was wealthy before you married him, your accountant knows all the in ands out of tricks, that you hardly pay ANY taxes..and you don't care if others get hosed with high taxes to pay for your vision of the Social Utopia...

When did I ever say that my husband was rich before we got married? He had just started working after looking for a job for a while.
Perhaps Stephanie was rich when she got married. Why else would someone marry her? :p

We are in the upper tax bracket. We pay taxes. But you have to remember, my husband works in the financial industry. He knows how to manage money.

Well, I could use a housekeeper. Or a yard boy. Don't know if you could cut it though. My daughter is pretty demanding.

Its only because you don't know her. Wait until she starts talking about how she hopes people on the board or their children die.

Actually I think a better title for the thread would have been........ Why can't men keep it in their pants?

oopps my bad, I guess that would be sexist, sorry guys my apologies.

How about......... Why can't men keep it in their pants? And why can't women keep their pants on?

:laugh2:

Its great point. People tempt themselves instead of running away from temptations that come along.

To answer the question I believe the following will sum it up:

They are men. Women are freakin hott. It feels good to engage in certain activities with women. And because they are politicians we already know they have a lack of self control. Otherwise we wouldnt have an insane budget and government programs for everything.

There is nothing wrong with having it out of their pants. They just need to stop being stupid about it. IE. do it with your wife and not someone else.

Ive read some interesting things this weekend and i thought Id amend my comments a bit.

I would like to challenge any woman who is annoyed with men keeping it in their pants to spend a week being ejected with similiar proportions of testosterone that men deal with every day.

Then, I would like to see if you can keep it in the pants.

Honestly, I think you should be grateful that any men have learned self control. I know I am.
