ran across this..the owner of the site is asking information on it..I found the film damn scary

I bought this 35mm short at an estate sale. It appears to be from the 1940's and that main dad character looks like Dana Andrews. I can't find anything about it anywhere. If you have info, please let me know. "In Our Hands"

It's funny how possibly prophetic this movie is.

The only thing missing is the color of the folks moving in. And their attitude. Kind of a preview of 2010. The party official is someone like virgil or joe.

Certainly was 'fear mongering', which doesn't negate the truth in what was being taught about how our system works and freedoms protected by smaller government.

I'm an old movie buff and I haven't seen that one before. And I can tell you that the father is not Dana Andrews. His voice isn't even like that mans. And he looks nothing like him.

Here's a site with his pic all over it. Certainly not the same man.

It's from 1950:

In Our Hands (1950) (http://retrovision.tv/freevideo/in-our-hands-1950/)

There are four parts. The director was Jack Tilles and the writer was James Prindle. The both seem to have done work for the automotive industry as well.

I thought so. I also believe I saw Gomez from 'Addams family"? No?

It was meant to fight facists in other countries and yet we still have fascists today. Except they are in our country running the show.

Hollywood is part of the "party."
