Hah. Looks like my front yard, and it's still coming down..when all is said & done, about a foot by morning, with another 2-3" tomorrow night.

Phooey.

We had a REALLY nice 80-some degree day about 2 weeks ago-since then it hasn't gotten above 50. Like I said... Mother Nature is a sick, twisted bitch right now.

We hit almost 80 once, and then zipped right back down into the 30's and stayed there.

I already have bronchitis. Probably from the last time you did that. Yet you would infest me with some other female bacteria designed to incapacitate males?

That's just plain rude.

I know!!! My poor hyacinths didn't bloom. It was in the 60s in January, then snowed all February. The little hyacinth shoots were frostbitten and never bloomed. :( Just hope my azaleas make it. The tulips look pretty sickly.

Watch out, or they'll switch to blaming the U.S. for an upcoming Ice Age. :laugh2:

Interesting, isn't it?

The first Earth Day was celebrated on April 22, 1970, amidst hysteria about the dangers of a new ice age. The media had been spreading warnings of a cooling period since the 1950s, but those alarms grew louder in the 1970s.

Three months before, on January 11, The Washington Post told readers to “get a good grip on your long johns, cold weather haters – the worst may be yet to come,” in an article titled “Colder Winters Held Dawn of New Ice Age.” The article quoted climatologist Reid Bryson, who said “there’s no relief in sight” about the cooling trend.

I guess they were right in the 70's.....I am going to go get my big collared shirts out of storage and my platform shoes, too.....
