Sorry bout that,

1. But Tom Watson is leading the British Open, and is nearly 60 years of age.
2. This is historic to the max, what a story!
3. Good Luck Tom! ~ *Irish Dance*
5. Tee's off in 20 minutes.
6. I saw him once at The Colonial Country Club, what a warm and easy to approach person, so calm and nice.

Watson is driving the ball very well and long, he's smart, knows how to manage a golf course and loves the history and tradition of this great tournament. He is, most importantly, putting well and staying calm........ I will be up tomorrow morning to watch this great champion take a serious shot at the oldest man to win a major title. He's 11 years older than Julius Boros was when he won the 1968 PGA. I hope he can get a good night's sleep.:thumb:

What a wonderful experience Tom has brought to us all. Such a true champion. So dignified. No petty excuses.....just tells it like it is. Came up short. That's all. But you know what? He didn;t come up short at all. He provided one of the most exciting experiences for a golf fan in history. It was truely a pleasure to watch this "old school" professional implement his skills at this level for possibly the last time in his career. What a treat!
