Democrats and President Obama have denied that the creation of a new government-run health care plan would be a Trojan Horse for single-payer health care, but a new report by the Lewin Group (comissioned by the Heritage Foundation) finds that the House Democrats' health care bill would shift more 83.4 million Americans from private health care coverage to the government plan. To put that in perspective, that would mean that nearly half (48.4 percent) would lose their private health coverage. In all, the government plan would have 103.4 million members once implemented, according to the Lewin analysis. President Obama has repeated the mantra that anybody who likes their health insurance plan can keep it, but in reality about 63 percent of covered Americans get their health care through their employers, and if employers decide to drop their current health plans in favor of the government plan, workers won't have any choice but to sign up.

Here's a Lewin chart titled, "Changes in Sources of Coverage under the American Affordable Health Choices Act Assuming Full Implementation in 2011 (millions)":

I think Proponets of Private Health care in the sector will come forward to equalize this problem. I seriously think doctors will have huge concerns about being regulated by government. A "strike" might help. I wonder what barry would do then. Lock em up? This should prove to be interesting since we are obviously going to get it "as i predicted" in my 2004 Newsflash article on USMB as I'm sure everyone remembers. I believe my article was called "foolish" and "fabricated" then........HO HO HO! Not many laughing now!

I am especially interested to see how the left will cover the "parts factory" issue that will no doubt arise as a result of undesireables being salvaged so that low cost folks can be saved. I predict a sharp increase in cancer death, smokers baing denied coverage as they will be labeled as such. A threat to the common good so to speak.

The handicapped will be eliminated, mentally ill eliminated and serious accident victimes allowed to die as their recovery will be far too expensive. So much emphasis has been placed (by Obama) on the fact that it will not cost us more to have Health Care provided by government that I personally would be very hesitant to go to a hospital if I was seriously hurt.

Not to mention that not one single politician has accepted a pledge to accept the same coverage that will be provided to the "normal" citizen. NOT ONE! They advertise that the new Health care plan is the same one Congressman have but it is not. Not even close.
