Sorry bout that,

Sounds like it is working, heres why:

1. All the while we are here debating wether everyone who becomes ill here in America, can be taken care of, without being ruined finacially, not having insurance, look at China, Socialisms at work and working in China.
2. Yeah and every other day I see on TV some economists saying "We have to borrow money from China again, that money rolling off our printing presses had to be borrowed from China.
3. You ever wonder how that works, we print our own currency, but then we ask China can we borrow it???
4. Seems like this lame story isn't even close to reality.
5. But I keep hearing and seeing it all the time.
6. If we have to borrow all this money from China, then it would suggest China's socialism is working, and the free market isn't.
6. a) Perhaps the next wave for the world is socialism.
7. Maybe its time we give Socialism another look.

I just got back from China.

When they were practicing socialism (or trying), China was a third-world country. Most homes had no indoor plumbing or electricity, average income was around $5/week, and any attempt to start a business to improve your fortunes, was strictly controlled, regulated, and heavily taxed by the government.

In the last 20 years, they have been getting rid of socialism, and practicing capitalism (i.e. a free economy not hindered by government controls) more and more. It's not 100% capitalistic yet, but improving rapidly.

And that's the reason they have all this money to lend. They have gotten rid of most of their socialism. Had they not, they wouldn't be able to lend us a dime.

Yes, we should follow China's example: Let's start getting rid of the socialism that's holding us back so badly, and start increasing capitalism instead. Hopefully the results will be similar to what they are experiencing.

Sorry bout that,

1. Sure they haven't gone cold turkey.
2. China is both Socialism and Capitalism.
3. We just need to know which parts of socialism work, and do that.
4. Explain why we are always hearing we gotta borrow some money from China then?

They're state capitalists. Although I really don't know much about private ownership in China at the moment.

Ummm, none of them. Not that socialism has "parts"... it's just one philosophy. Which doesn't work.

4. Explain why we are always hearing we gotta borrow some money from China then?
I did.
