I especially like that part about penalizing doctors who have re-peat patients come back after their initial visit. They will be penalized. Oh...and second opinions..forget it!

Here's a point for you Liberal ladies out there. Say your doctor likes to fondle a bit too much and takes a little too much time during "sensative" examinations....TOUGH SHIT! That is your assigned doctor lady, if you want health care you will have to endure it. That man is good for the new Health Care plan. He bills accordingly and does not complain. Oh! You noticed that most of the ladies in his waiting room (and there will be plenty) are all attractive. It isn't a coincidence ma'am, his assigned screener sets it up that way. They watch the films together dummy!

Oh...you think I'm exaggerating. All health care people are honest and decent...right? OK. Go ahead and believe it. Keep supporting this stupid system of government taking care of everything....you'll see. You are gonna find yourself a pin cushion for horny doctors baby!

Then there is the "Parts Factory". You know what I am talking about. If I have to explain it to you then you are dumber than is required to understand what I am talking about. You will be required to be an organ donor if you want "equal" treatment. If you are in good shape and have a crash one night and are near death I hope you land in one of those hospitals where a rogue doctor who likes to save lives is on duty because bonuses will be awarded to doctors who "spot" good used parts.

I can see it now. Giovernment will be awarding the annual "Doctor Death" award. The doctor who saves the most money for the people by having issued the least amount of lifesaving services. You know,,, economics. Serving the common good! Saving taxpayers dollars. Only a damn fool won't believe that this will be a decision making factor in Health Care at some point.

Wake Up America. There is all kinds of other implications here too. A dead patient does not need medications, further care or extended stay, eating up resources and costing bonuses for Health care employees. There will no incentive to keep people alive. dead people save money!@!!!!!!!!! Let me say that again;

DEAD PEOPLE SAVE MONEY! DEAD PEOPLE SAVE MONEY!

say it again folks:

DEAD PEOPLE SAVE MONEY!!!!!!

Having a bunch of sick people laying around in hospitals is not going to be a good thing for the new Health care system. It will tax our resources, require too much manpower to keep these people up and just generally be a bad decision. If you are so shallow as to believe what I am saying is not true....go ahead and bet your life on it because that is what you are doing.

The whole system is going to be about "saving money" idiot! The best way to save money will be to let folks die. Oh...I know, we're too honest for that. OK, go ahead and blindly follow that philosophy into the Socialist abyss.

Let me tell you something brother.......you will beg to see Charles Manson rather than to see some of the shitthat will be offered under the new system. Our standards are going to be so low for graduating a doctor from school now it won't be believable.

See, that is something we haven't touched upon. EDUCATION of the new wave Socialist doctor. Training for how to comply will begin in school. We can't have a bunch of rogue thinking doctors out here trying to save people's lives in a system that encourages death. Learning to be a good doctor will not be about saving lives. It will be about deciding whose life to save. Economics will be important too.

The education of how to care for the elderly will begin at the Institute for Elderly Care. It will cover things like how to care for the patient during their final days before reaching age 72, which will be the suggested age for termination. Of course that age will drop when we realize there are far too many complication with trying to care for a bunch of unhealthy 60 something year olds. Think of all the money will can save by not having a bunch of Elderly Care centers. Emphasis will be placed on the "quality" of life as opposed to the Quanity of it.

Oh and handicapped folks, I can't wait to see what your life will be like you undesirable cost hoarders. Wasting all our money on your special needs. Ramps that get in the way, special lifts, costs for your care to produce nothing. Your value is dead set to go down. You will be a liability for sure.

I'm going to put this out there. This is my personal experience of government health care.

Both of my boy's receive medical insurance through the state. They also have traditional insurance through their father.

Here's the problem there are very few Doctor's and Dentists who accept the state insurance. Why? The answer I received from numerous offices, it is to hard to collect the money owed to them from the state.

It took me almost a year to finally locate an oral surgeon for my 13 year old to have a cyst removed from his mouth, without having to drive two hours away. Because I could not find any oral surgeons who accepted both their insurance from their father, and the state.

I could find oral surgeons left and right to accept their father's insurance but here's the problem the deductible on that plan is $5000.00, which means I would have had to pay the $5000.00 first, before the insurance would pay anything.

Considering my income that is not an option.

On another note my children's dentist only sees patients with state insurance only, on certain days and times. However if you have state and traditional insurance you can be seen at anytime.

And government run health-care is a good thing why???

I know the answer. A doctor who had been imprisoned for "Failure to comply". Economically it is a deal!!!! Use doctors who have been imprisoned. There will be many you know? Tons of em to "choose" from. Well, for the government to choose from.

Folks will think I am kidding and just having a laugh. They won't be laughing when this stuff comes to pass....and you better bet your ass (you are actually) that it will.

Doctors who try to cheat the billing requirements, refuse to allow certain patients to expire, or take a chance on wasting resources on someone who eventually does die against regulations, will be imprisoned. Their services will then be free. It will be a great way of providing lower cost services to the general public. Doctors will be distributed to various prisons throughout the country so as to have health care for prisoners too.

I especially like that part about penalizing doctors who have re-peat patients come back after their initial visit. They will be penalized.

Unsurprisingly, you got it wrong. Here's the relative section of the Bill:

The Secretary of Health and Human Services shall conduct a study to determine how the readmissions policy described in the previous subsections could be applied to physicians.

(2) CONSIDERATIONS.--In conducting the study, the Secretary shall consider approaches such as--

...

(C) applying a payment reduction for physicians who treat the patient during the initial admission that results in a readmission...

The bill doesn't mandate penalites. It directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to conduct a study which, presumably, might lead to reductions if fees for poor performance.

Don't you think physicians should be accountable for their performance?

Joe....that is about a spin if ever I heard one son. Reduced fees are penalties my friend. And.....while the Secretary of Health and Human Resources is busy trying to keep up with an overwhelming amount of red tape associated with deciding rather readmisson was necessary or not (if the patient does not die), more and more incentive will be collecting to convince doctors that readmisson is a bad idea. Man...that is going to really improve Health Care isn't it.

JOe, can you Liberals not just come to peace with the fact that not quite every idea of the Liberal "get the vote" agenda is a good idea for America. Is it not shallow to just prescribe to anything without question. You have seen the polls recently haven't you? Even the left handed pollsters are not able to cover the decline in your President's popularity pal.

Then there is the obvious question that even you should understand if you stick your head out of the clouds for a minute. Some treatments require additional visits. Also, some sicknesses can reoccur.

The whole system is flawed. The intention is flawed. It is a ploy to make Americans feel they are getting something they are not so they will vote for Democrats, plain and simple. Power....more power Joe. You and likeminded people like you are falling for it as your own party insults your intelligence by manipulating you.

Now understand this. I know that the incentive most of you share is a genuine one of concern for your fellow Americans. I don;t dispute that. I am not one who believes that the other side os the enemy because they believe a certain way. I am deeply rooted in the belief that only one way is destructive to society. That is why stand so firmly for a philosophy that discourages it. I do think however that the haste to promote a political agenda can brainwash people into thinking their political adversaries are their enemies. We are all Americans Joe. No matter which we decide to take, we will all take it together.

Think back for a minute to the time of 911. In a rather unique sort of way the terrorists gave us a gift on that day. When we were attacked we all somehow knew in a matter of minutes that we had ALL been attacked. I'm sure in all the hussle bussle of those buildings crumbling a few Democrats helped Republicans and Republicans helped Democrats escape from the mess. I don;t think it mattered a hill of beans as to whether one was either of which as to how we reacted to the situation. Americans had been attacked and Americans were ready to respond.

Soldiers demonstrate this to us best every day. The military ranks of our country are comprised of both.....and a few Libertarians. They remain focused on one goal for the most part. Citizens are not in the military and not subject to the disciplined scrutiny required to maintain military order. We are free thinking entitled to opinions, choices and a responsibility that goes with it. i prefer to make my own choices about my health care and do not want government to make it for me. My sentiment is shared by a majority in this country. It runs about 55% to 45%. You do believe in majority rules don;t you. The thing is our country's representation in government does not truly reflect those percentages. You know that. Our percentages of states is still 35-15 Red. Middle America shows %'s as high as 70% Conservative, the highest %'s of anywhere in the country. Why is it fair to mandate that those states participate in something they do not want\?

Government run Health Care is a loser friend. Just like Social Security. Have you not been around long enough to know that when something appears to be too good to be true or free, it isn't!

This will be a rant, sort of on topic, sort of not.

Our representatives, whether we are liberal or conservative should be held to a certain standard. I expect them to read and understand the potential laws they are voting on. Notice, I'm not saying 'capable', but they actually do read and understand. They have plenty of staff to help them with that, their staff being as they know, in the groove of their political bent.

They should consider what their constituency would want for a vote, if they do decide to go against that, they should be explaining why, so that the people can make an informed decision in the next election.

The electorate should know how they vote, why, and vote the next time accordingly, keeping their own opinions in mind.
