Senate building is up for sale, he's a senator.

A remarkable feat of association, not within the abilities of most people on this board.

But I'll try.

------------------------------

I hear the Lake Elsinore Storm baseball team (AAA team for the San Diego Padres) is up for sale.

Adrian Gonzales plays for the San Diego Padres.

It must be Adrian's fault.

------------------------------

There! See, I can make just as much sense as Sorry Bout That's bot!

1. Hilarious!:laugh2:
2. I think McCain has some responsiblity for this, he is a senator for crying out loud.
3. From that state.
4. Surely he bears some degree of credit.
5. At least he does in CWN's book!

McCain is a US Senator. He works in the US Capitol.

Arizona is considering a sale and lease of the State Capitol. McCain neither works there, nor has jurisdiction over that building.

In 1996, when Bob Dole was running for President, he made some statement that angered the officials of the country of Turkey. (No, don't ask me what it was, I don't know.) The officials then organized a nationwide boycott of the Dole Pineapple Co., thinking they were getting revenge on Bob Dole. They quickly became the laughingstock of the world as both Doles pointed out that they had no affiliation with each other, nothing but coincidentally similar names.

It's good to see that that level of intellect is alive and well on this board, in the person (program?) of Sorry Bout That's bot. Even after being informed of the complete lack of connection between Arizona's State Senate, and U.S. Senator John McCain, Sorry Bout That's bot still continues to maintain there is some connection.

One can only hope that Sorry Bout That's bot can't vote.

Good point. Thus those who think because Obama has ties to Islam he is a terrorist must be correct. That's all the link they need as well.

Such mental gymnastics make for good entertainment but have no more basis in reality than the tooth fairy.

No...it wasn't really necessary...just fitting for the post

I'm afraid my patience is rather worn with some of the inane posts and comments here....but I'm cool now....
I'll endeavor to suffer the fools as we all must from time to time....

Your scolding was appropriate.....my bad:salute:

Sorry bout that,

1. A wise man states his case, how he sees it, and allows the fools to lament his words.
2. Then a fool, prepairs long speeches of how excellent his views are, all the while laughing to one of the mans one handed clapping.
3. We don't have full information on Obama either, I wouldn't be surprised I can tell you.
4. As far as McCain is concerned, I'm sure there is plenty of blame to go around, if you are not, thats ok too.

I think Silver's acknowledgment more than suffices.

On the other hand, this post assume you are wise, which is more than debatable.

Implies Silver is a fool, which is wrong, based upon all his previous posts.

1. I think wisdoms subjective.
2. I didn't call anyone a fool, so your saying I have?
3. Thats not wise.
4. Its foolish to attack others over opinions, everyone has one, who's to say who's is the correct one?
5. As I remember I was the one being called a fool.
6. If you think thats debateable, then you are saying you think I am.
7. Assuming you know something I don't what do you base that on?
8. You and I just may have to have this out also deary.

1. I don't think so, all he did was say he deserved being called on it, over his out burst, seems he got off easy.
2. Where is my apology?
3. I won't hold my breath, but it does reveal Silvers intent, and whom he is.
4. Wether he be the fool you can decide, for his reaction.
5. Also Calling others a moron is kind of an insult, if you ask me,
6. I can't forgive Silver unless I get an apology, thats how it works.
7. For that matter neither you Kathianne.
8. I neg. repped you, if I didn't say something insulting towards you why did you neg rep me back deary?
9. I also neg. repped Silver, he hasn't .

Well Sonny, its like this....your post impling Sen. McCain should in any way assume some responsibility for his States financial problems, shows you ARE a moron....so there will be no apology...

Arizona has Governor and Lt. Governor, along with about 30 State Senators and about 60 State Representatives ..... and its their duty see to the day to day problems of the State and how its run and what it spends, etc.....so thats the way it is Sonny....

The states federal representatives, such as McCain, have their specific duties to perform concerning state and federal dealings and interaction....

So now that you've been schooled a little, you're a little less of a moron than you were before you met me....have a terrific day....class dismissed.

Remarkable.

Even though Sorry Bout That's bot has had the facts explained tto him innumerable times now, he still tries to tell us that the AZ state govt's problems reflect on McCain. He apparently feels there is someone on this board who will actually believe him.

And he even announces that he "intends to make it so". It's the quintessential liberal belief: That he can make a falsehood magically come true, simply by calling it true... or by passing a law, as they so often try to do.

The worst part: That someone with such completely nutty and bizarre thoughts, can vote.
