View Full Version : I'm on a tele-townhall meeting right now.

Listening to questions from folks and my reps responses. He's against the health care bill. So are all the people that have asked questions. This has been a good way to do this. At least my rep is on my side. He is informed and not spewing talking points.

It just ended so I can type with two hands again. I think he was doing this in order to reach more people. Especially many that can't get to a regular town hall meeting.

Peter Roskum (http://roskam.house.gov/), my rep has held these since he was elected. I find them very informative, but regarding health care I'd prefer physical town hall, as it would give a chance for media coverage.

I would agree with you if the media wasn't bias. I think the reps should do both. A regular meeting and a phone meeting for those that can get there or can't get in.

I don't trust the media to report on anything that isn't in favor of the dark lord.

I don't trust the MSM for zip. Not for the message, even when the message is given, they repackage. Time and again.

My rep is against the bill and was asking everyone to call the senators and tell them how we all feel and to vote against it in the senate. I will have to look at what brown is saying but I know how voinovich will go. He will not only kiss the liberals asses he will give a rim job to cinch the the deal.
