And the anti-war crowd is where? The media is covering their marches where?

Oh that's right all the reporters are at Martha's Vineyard helping the dark lord work on his sun tan. overbite and mathews are probably fighting over who gets to rub sun screen on the dark lords legs.

Interesting, so what was Bush doing this time last year? Obviously he wasn't on vacation, right?

I'm curious, Noir. I've noticed in my yrs on the web many foreigners seem to address OUR political environment as though it's their own. Why do you care about USA politics and the inner workings? I could give a shit what the Queen or Parliament does on a daily basis.

Just wondering. But I already know.

The President is never truly on vacation.

I agree. But you notice that those hypocritical haven't been complaining about Obama's vacations. 8 years they have complained about President Bush going home for a month. Now their guy does it, while the nations in worse shape, and not a peep. In fact, they are glorifying the vacation.

It's mainly to do with my education, politics is my main interest and American politics is my specialist subject, but it's not just America, I have quiet an interest in other countries too, mainly France and Russia, I just find it iteresting how other nations approch similar problems as my own, I think i'd find it rather boring if I focoused totaly on British politics.

Even more interesting again...when bush was president did you post any topics pointing out the fact that he was on vacation? I'm guessing not, infact you were prob defending Bushs right to be on vacation from attacks from the left, but you will see no blackness, teapots or kettles in any of this, right?

Interesting. But it is not like Obama is going on vacation during a national disaster while a major U.S. city is drowning. No responsible American leader would do that.

Of course...dead troops piling up, unemployment out of control, and the economy a shambles....its not like its a national disaster....moron

Bush's only mistake during the N.O. hurricane was in assuming that a Democratic Governor of the state, and Democratic Mayor or the city, would take some, (any) steps to help their citizens.....

The dark lord is in his 7th month and needs a nice long vacation. I never worked any place that you could take a vacation before a year was up. But then being a supreme being has its advantages I guess.

You don't have to be president, you could be any member of congress, or even just a school teacher.
I assume you were equally critical when Bush went on vacation before he was in office for a year?

Noir,

I think the reason you are seeing the pot calling the kettle black is that the conservatives have sat back and listened to the liberals trash the administration for the last 8 years, and now the liberals are getting a taste of their own trash talk. By now they are beginning to understand that it is far easier to trash the admin than to defend it.....and I must say, it's interesting to watch the disintegration of the left now that they are on the defensive rather than the offensive.

Exactly, however the Right are not doing this to be ironic, it's pretty clear that the past few posts have been serious, and thus you end up with black pots and kettles.

By now they are beginning to understand that it is far easier to trash the admin than to defend it

Gee, they need to be taught that?
Also, guess what will happen the next time a republician pres. is voted in? The Left will trash the admin to show the right that it is far easier to trash the admin than to defend it. And guess what, then when the next liberal presidet is voted in the right will trash the admin to show the left....
And so the cycle of pots, kettles and blackery lives on.

and I must say, it's interesting to watch the disintegration of the left now that they are on the defensive rather than the offensive.

I'll bet any money that liberals in liberal forums were saying exactly the same thing during the Bush years.
