on this day 64 years ago Japanese delegates board the USS Missouri and sign the documents of surrender. ending WWII. one of the most horrific and greatests stuggles in human history. a salute to those who served and died. and the millions who paid the price

actually there's more interest in this war like never before. there are tons of WW2 forums with very large memberships. a lot of youngsters are very interested in how this war started. the hardware. land sea and air battles. theatres of operation. oposing military leaders. and a lot who come on looking for info on their passed relatives who served. just about every topic you can think of.
Im on 3 of them. which includes a ton of foreigners with a very keen and knowledgeable interest in it. ive learned a lot talking to these members. mainly Germans and Brits. and the photos they post are nothing short of awesome !!!!!
