April 9th ,3 years ago was the date Maupin was taken. I believe he is still considered MIA. He is our only missing soldier right now. His parents have fought to keep his status MIA,from what remember seeing on the tube a while back.

I believe this anniversary should have recieved more press.

Been seeing signs everywhere around here, Krisy. But, yeah, I agree, it should get more press. Unless it's the kind of press that uses him as an example of why we should withdraw our troops.

The local press has been pretty good to the Maupins. But I bet most of America couldn't name our only missing soldier. This anniversary should be on national news.

I agree with you that it shouldn't be used in the press as an argument.
