I am going to need ear plugs soon!!!!

So my baby turned 11 today.....and all he wanted for his birthday was a drum set.....guess what he got for his birthday? Guess what I should have got as an accessory?

Oh yes and his walls are black, this is my odd child, he loves black and everything in his room is black, except the trim.

Well that's nice my husband just discovered that my 13 can plug his electric guitar into our receiver like an amp ..............like his amp wasn't already loud enough! Can I get some ear plugs please??!!!

well you could say that he does have some issues and we are working on those, but you also have to keep in mind that he takes after his mother and my favorite color is black......not that any of my walls other then my youngest child's room is black, but all of my furniture is black, and I have considered painting my bedroom black. I just like black.

You're gonna need more than a pair of ear plugs, so here is a whole box full...too bad virtual ear plugs don't really block it out, but they say it is the thought that counts.

I wouldn't worry too much about the black walls. I did some wild decorating when I was young and I've made it okay in life. :D

And they have already got together to rock. They are working on For Whom The Bells Toll by Metallica. Hmmm I am beginning to think this might have been a really good idea. I believe this is the first time in quite some time that my youngest has invited his older brother into his room, and the two of them actually got along for longer then 30 minutes. :dance:


Here's the song they are working on, once they get it down I will record them and post it.

Yes I did some wild decorating myself when I was younger. It's a form of expressing ones self. I am artistic by nature, and I believe my son is me made over, only a male version. :coffee:

Trinity, here is hoping your kids form a nice black metal band. The music is really fast and really loud. And the singer usually sounds like Cookie Monster being strangled. :p
