My son came down from SC this weekend and we cut down about 35 pine tree's, still have another 25 or so to do, anyone have any idea what to do with them ? I won't burn them in the fire place, guess one hell of a bomb fire in the yard later this winter, could make a night of it, or a few nights, :laugh2: deep fry a turkey and burn pine, sounds like a plan :thumb:

How big are they? You can sell them to an independent that will sell them to a saw mill.

That is what I was thinking. Pine furniture and flooring is much in demand.

Most are to small for pulp wood, and the ones that were big enough we have already cut up , as we cut I had the kids carrying them to the woods, but I will have to look into that Mr.P as the ones that are left are quite a bit bigger, thanks for the advice :thumb:

The small ones may go to a paper mill..The large ones have a minimum length so ck before you cut..I think it's 14 ft lengths.

I will do, I just remembered a guy in town that builds furniture out of pine, I would give the old fellow some if he would send his kids to pick it up, Thanks again for the advice, both you and Kat :thumb:
